EMR Operations Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY:
Serve as the training subject matter expert for Southwest Gastroenterology's EMR application. Responsible for design, writing, and maintenance of EMR application training curriculums and end-user proficiency evaluations. The role of the EMR operations analyst is to provide training of new EMR application features functionality and continuously ongoing enhancements. The role also requires providing application troubleshooting to clinicians and staff.
MAJOR DUTIES/CRITICAL TASKS

Serve as the primary technical contact for EMR application workflows for clinicians and staff.

Must master both the application and organization-specific workflows.

Support testing and design of new functionality and enhancements.

Design, write and maintain application training curriculum for a broad range of end-user roles and knowledge.

The curriculum may include e-learning modules, videos, tip sheets, optimization guides, and implementing learning program evaluations.

Provide application troubleshooting support for clinicians and staff, and a functional partner in developing clinical workflows, assessing chart risk for improper documentation, performing chart audits to evaluate policy and procedure compliance. Use alternate environments to recreate end-user workflows for research.
