Dr. John A. Burdon Announces His Retirement
Dr. John Burdon, a well-known and respected gastroenterologist, has announced he will retire from active practice with Southwest Gastroenterology Associates on July 1, 2013 after 23 years of providing healthcare throughout New Mexico.
Dr. Burdon graduated from Louisiana State University – New Orleans School of Medicine in 1982. After his internship and residency in New Orleans he moved to Albuquerque and joined Southwest Gastroenterology Associates.
Dr Burdon is an avid fisherman and is looking forward to retirement in Pass Christian, Mississippi along with his wife of 33 years.
He leaves thanking you for your trust and faith in allowing him to care for your medical needs over the years.
He refers his patients to his 10 partners, including 3 female gastroenterologists; they have worked together at Southwest Gastroenterology Associates for over 30 years and share the same excellent patient care philosophy.
The physicians and staff at Southwest Gastroenterology Associates will miss Dr. Burdon and wish him well.
