About Us

Southwest Gastroenterology was started by Robert M. Lynn in 1982 as a solo gastroenterology practice. Since then the practice has grown to include a ten physician practice as well as three nurse practitioners. Southwest Gastroenterology Associates has provided care throughout New Mexico, and is known for its excellent patient care and high patient satisfaction. Southwest Gastroenterology physicians are comprise an independent, private practice.

In 1998 Southwest Gastroenterology opened up Albuquerque's first ambulatory surgical center exclusively for endoscopy. All of Southwest Gastroenterologists perform endoscopy procedures at Southwest Endoscopy also located at 7788 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.  Southwest Endoscopy is owned and operated by Southwest Gastroenterology.

Accreditation

Southwest Endoscopy is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. and is Medicare Certified. Southwest Endoscopy is owned and operated by Southwest Gastroenterology.
